The "spinning chi bullet" is a signature attack of Yamcha, a technique he developed personally during the three years of training between the defeat of Piccolo Dai Mao and the 23rd Ten'kaichi Budokai tournament. The attack generates a small sphere of chi and is hurtled around the air and through the ground (wherever the user directs it) to pummel the opponent, rather than exploding on impact as chi balls normally do.
